the United States of America has published its up-dated list of countries whose citizens are eligible to enter the US under the Visa Waiver Programme (VWP).
The VWP allows citizens of eligible countries to enter the US and stay within 90 days for business or tourism without visa.
In the new list published on Monday, America’s long standing big ally, the United Kingdom was also left out on the list that has no African country eligible for the VWP.
The US has emplaced a stringent visa regime since the enactment of the Terrorist Travel Prevention Act of 2015.
Below are the only 40 countries in the world eligible for the VWP with Romania as the only new entrant on the list.
