Criticism: Tinubu’s Camp Fights Back, Removes Ndume as Senate Chief Whip
The Senate has removed Senator Ali Ndume (APC, Borno) as the Chief Whip.
In his place, Sen. Tahir Monguno was announced as his replacement.
The removal of Ndume was engineered by the leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) through a letter written to the Senate and signed by the National Chairman of the party, Umar Ganduje and the party’s National Secretary, Sen Bashir Ajibola.
The request of the party was, however, put to voice votes by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, and was supported by all the APC senators.
