Presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga has said that some Nigerians criticizing the gesture of President Bola Tinubu to the victorious Super Falcons who made the country proud by winning the Women’s African Cup of Nations for a record 10 times is uncalled for.
in a statement shared on his X handle on Tuesday said that a private company multichoice pays winners of BBNaija winners N150 million.
According to Onanuga, “When you remember that Multichoice, the organizer of the BBNaija reality show is offering the winner ₦150 million grand prize, you wonder why some Nigerians are unappreciative of President Tinubu’s rewards to the Super Falcons. President Tinubu has rewarded excellence, creativity, hard work, soccer artistry and the undying Nigerian spirit.”
President Bola Tinubu on Monday conferred the national honours of OON on the Nigerian ladies and also approved a gift of $100, 000 and a 3-bedroom Bungalow for the players while the crew members also got $50, 000 cash reward.
