The Minister of Sports, Senator John Enoh has officially unveiled former Super Eagles winger, Finidi George as the new Head Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
George, 53 was unveiled at the Secretariat the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), in Abuja on Monday morning, the Minister was joined the Secretary -General, Ibrahim Gusau and other top NFF and ministry functionaries.
George’s appointment was announced last week after a rigorous recruitment process that the saw the former Ajax Amsterdam and Real Betis winger come tops ahead of other contenders.
George worked with the immediate past head coach of the Super Eagles, Jose Peserio as an Assistant, and later oversaw the training of the Super Eagles in acting capacity for a period of two months.
