Speaker Abbas congratulates ex-Rep, Hon. Gadaka, on Appointment as Emir of Gudi in Yobe State

 

 

 

The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen,  has congratulated a former member of the House, Hon. Ismail Gadaka, on his appointment as the Emir of Gudi in Yobe State.

 

The new Emir of Gudi, a seasoned banker, had served as a member of the House representing Fika/Fune Federal Constituency of Yobe State from 2011 to 2019. He was also a commissioner in Yobe State between 2007 and 2010.

His appointment as the new Emir of Gudi—officially known as the Mai Gudi—was made by Governor Mai Mala Buni, as announced through a statement from the Office of the Secretary to the Yobe State Government over the weekend.

In a congratulatory message through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi, the Speaker said the appointment of the ex-lawmaker as the Emir of Gudi is well-deserved.

 

Speaker Abbas expressed confidence in the ability and capacity of Hon. Gadaka to lead the people of Gudi Emirate, noting that the ex-lawmaker would bring his experience of many years to bear in his new role.

 

The Speaker wished the new Emir of Gudi a successful reign, urging him to lead by example.

 

Until his appointment, Hon. Ismail Gadaka was the chairman of the Governing Council, Federal College of Education, Yawuri, Kebbi State, and chairman of the Yobe State Local Government Project Monitoring and Evaluation Committee.
