President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday held closed-door meeting with six governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) at the State House, Abuja.
Among the governors in attendance were the governors Umar Namadi (Jigawa); Senator Monday Okpebholo (Edo); Mr. Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti); Usman Ododo (Kogi); Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto (Sokoto); and Nasir Idris (Katsina).

A Source at the presidency who spoke on the condition of anonimity told FACTSHEET that the meeting centred on the security situation in the country.
The six governors according to the source, “those governors are meeting with the president to discuss the security issues in their various state, you know that governors must collaborate to tackle the issue.”
