S/East APC Vice Chair, Arodiogbu Lauds Deputy Speaker, Kalu’s Efforts, Pushes for United Front to Conquer 2027

National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), South East, Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, has commended the efforts of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, at uniting the party in Abia State, calling for a stronger alliance ahead of the 2027 elections.

 

Arodiogbu, who is the Chairman of the Governing Board of David Umahi Federal University Teaching Hospital, Uburu, Ebonyi State, made the call during a New Year visit to Kalu at the Renewed Hope Partners (RHP) Office in Umuahia, Abia State on Wednesday.

 

He emphasized the need for unity among Abia State leaders to achieve success in the upcoming elections.

He commended Kalu, saying he has done exceedingly well and has empowered many people.

He said: “It’s my pleasure to be here to meet with our leader, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu. I am also happy to see many of our leaders in Abia surrounding him. It shows that he has a very good followership of men that matter in Abia State and Nigeria. Kalu is a man of worth and repute. He has shown resonance. He has shown that he is a man of echo, that his actions and voice resonate.

 

“We have a lot of respect for him as a leader of the South East. This is a new year. I have come to wish him a happy new year, and I wish all of you a happy new year. We also need to forge a strong alliance to confront what’s challenging us to win the 2027 election that’s just around the corner. So, Ndi Abia, it gladdens my heart that we’re meeting today, and I thank God for it.”

 

In his remarks, the Deputy Speaker, Kalu, expressed gratitude to Arodiogbu for finding time to visit him.

 

Kalu revealed that he has procured 184 tablets for the electronic registration of membership in APC, covering the 184 electoral wards across Abia State, urging all members to actively participate

 

“I want to thank you for traveling all the way to come and see me. Knowing that I am here, you came to pay me this New Year visit and also deliberate on things concerning the growth of our party. We’re faced with the challenge of e-registration of our membership. We’ve just secured 184 tablets which we’ll share around 184 wards of the state. We want to activate it this month, and we’ll hand over the materials by tomorrow. We’re hoping to commence that business before the end of this week,” Kalu said.
