President Tinubu In Enugu, Commissions Massive Projects, Says, Gov Mbah is ‘A Good Thinker’

 

President Bola Tinubu on Saturday in Enugu described Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu state as a “good thinker” who is poised to put the southeast state on the map.

President Tinubu who arrived the Akanu Ibiam International Airport on a state-visit where he is  expected to commission several projects completed by Governor Mbah’s administration in the last one year and half expressed satisfaction over the tact and focus of Governor Peter Mbah.

Impressed by the massive developmental projects already accomplished by Governor Mbah, President Tinubu said:

“Enugu is achieving great heights. Building our tomorrow, today. A leader like Governor Peter Mbah placing Enugu on the path of 21st-century development

“You’re a good thinker, Mbah. You’re my friend. We can go places together. Building Nigeria. Building the future. Use technology to build. Promote investment. We must encourage the private sector to come into politics.”

Some of the projects President Tinubu commissioned include, the Enugu International Conference Center, the 30 completed and equipped Enugu Smart Green Schools out of 260 under construction across the 260 wards in the state and 60 completed and equipped Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres out of the 260 under construction across the 260 wards in the state.

Others are,  the completed multi-auditorium and multi-functional Enugu International Conference Centre, 90 completed urban roads in Enugu City, state-of-the-art Command and Control Centre, as well as 150 patrol vehicles fitted with AI-embedded surveillance cameras.”

Igbo leaders across political party divides converged on the Coal City to welcome President Tinubu. Prominent  among those who were on hand at the airport to welcome Mr. President include, the Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah; the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma; Abia Governor, Alex Otti; Anambra Deputy Governor; Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu; former Senate President, Anyim Pius Anyim; Minister of Works, Dave Umahi; and oil magnate, Arthur Ezeh, Minister of Science and Technology and Innovation, Chief Nnaji among others
