President Bola Tinubu has assented to the bill establishing the Southeast Development Commission (SEDVC).
The bill sponsored by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu was assented by President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday.
The commission will be saddled with the responsibility of coordinating development efforts in the southeast,
