Popular Nollywood producer, Ikechukwu Nnadi, AKA Andy Best, is dead.
Late Nnadi, reportedly died in a private hospital in Owerri, Imo State in the early hours of Tuesday.
Andy Best was said to have been ill for a long time and had to spend a lot of time and resources on managing an undisclosed ailment till he eventually succumbed to the illness.
Punch Newspaper reports that Seun Oloketuyi, the Director of the Best of Nollywood Awards, confirmed the death of the producer in a terse message saying, “Andy Best, a top Nollywood producer and marketer, is dead.”
Reports indicate that the remains of the popular producer were earlier today deposited at the Aladinma Hospital mortuary.
Nnadi hailed from Isiala Mbano Local Government Aea of Imo State.
In his lifetime he produced some of the most popular Nollywood movies including, the Lion of Africa, My Father’s Cup, White Poison amongst many others.
