NSCDC Rescues Lady ‘Prepared for Ritual’ by Yahooboy in Abuja Hotel

Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on Thursday in Abuja arrested a suspected “Yahooboy” who bound a lady in a hotel room (names withheld) in preparation for ritual purposes.

The young man who simply identified himself as “Alex” in a trending video on the internet was arrested after someone raised the alarm over the security of a lady who was seen going into the hotel, but was not seen going out.

In the trending video the man was seen unwrapping nylon from the legs of the dazed lady who could only cry as she was stripped naked and bound by the suspected internet fraudster.

Confirming the arrest of the suspect, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, told journalists that both the suspect and the rescued lady were still in the custody of the NSCDC.

Speaking on the incident, SP Adeh said that  “Findings revealed that the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has taken the suspect into custody and are yet to hand over to the police for diligent investigation.

“The FCT Police Command, for all intents and purposes, awaits the NSCDC to hand over all parties for the commencement of diligent and discreet investigation.

“Further developments will be communicated in due course.”
