Music Icon, Quincy Jones Dies at 91

American music and entertainment mogul, Qunicy Delight Jones has died, aged 91 years.

In a statement on Sunday night, Arnold Robinson, Jone’s publicist in a statement announced the death of the iconic music producer.

“Tonight, with full but broken hearts, we must share the news of our father and brother Quincy Jones’ passing,”  the statement read in part.

With 28 Grammy Awards, Quincy Jones was one of the most decorated entertainers in history and he broke several barriers including the first black man to be nominated for a Grammy Award.

Late Jones worked with hundreds of A-list entertainers  from Michael Jackson to Snood Doggy Dog and even younger artists.

Such classic songs as Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” to “We are the World,” Jones had his imprints on many successes in the music scene than anyone in his class.

In his 2001 autobiography. “Q,” Jones list of honours and awards filled 18 pages.
