Kelechi Iheanacho had a disappointing debut for Sevilla as they were thrashed by Liverpool at Anfield. Iheanacho started and played the first half but struggled to make an impact in attack.
In a recent presentation, Iheanacho acknowledged that he has not yet reached his peak form.
Fellow Super Eagles player Chidera Ejuke came on in the second half and assisted Gerard Peque’s consolation goal for Sevilla.
Sevilla lost 4-1 to Liverpool. Iheanacho and Ejuke will look for improved performances in their official La Liga debuts against Las Palmas next Sunday.
