JUST IN: US Troops Invade Venezuela, ‘Capture’ President Maduro, Wife, Trump Promises More Strikes

US President Donald has announced that US military Forces have invaded Venezuelan  capital, Caracas and “ captured” the country’s president, Nicolas Maduro and his wife.

In a statement shared on his Truth Social platform, President Trump described the invasion of the Venezuelan capital as “a large strike” promising that he would hold a press conference later on Saturday.

The US president has since accused Maduro of running a drug-cartel enabled government in the South American nation.

However, in a swift reaction, Venezuelan Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López condemned the invasion noting that, “This invasion represents the greatest outrage the country has suffered.”

The minister stated that the government was gathering information on the number of casualties promising that Venezuela would not condone foreign troops on its soil.

It is not clear at press time where the President Maduro and his wife have been taken to.
