Terrorits have kidnapped some teachers and unspecified number of students at St Mary’s Catholic Private Secondary School, Papiri, in Agwara Local Government Area of Nigeria State.
The terrorists according to emerging reports from the community indicate that the terrorists invaded the school in the early hours of Friday shooting sporadically while others abducted about 52 students.
The head of Disaster relief of of Agwara LGA, Ahmed Abdullahi Rofia, confirmed the abduction to the media.

Also, Bello Gidi, media aide to the Chairman of Agwara Local Government, while confirming the incidednt said, “Yes it’s true that bandits have kidnapped students and teachers at St. Mary’s Papiri Private Catholic Secondary School Papiri, Agwara LGA, Niger State.”
According to Gidi, “The information that is reaching us is that they have kidnapped over 100 students and teachers. Also, it is a mixed school with boys and girls.”
Both security and the Niger State Government have not reacted to the incident at press time.
