Former military dictator, General Yakubu Gowon has cleared air on the rumours that he has died.
Some section of the media and the social media have been agog that the Nigeria civil-war time head of state was dead.
Refuting the unfortunate rumour, his media aide, Adeyeye E. Ajayi issued a statement on Monday night quoting the octogenarian as saying, “I am still around and well. I am not in a hurry.”
