One time Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and former governor of Imo State, Hon Emeka Ihedioha has resigned his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Ihedioha in.a letter dated April 23, 2024 and addressed to the Chairman of the PDP Mbutu Ward, Aboh Mbaise LGA of Imo State, stated that he resigned due to irreconcilable differences between him and new events in the party.
Five other prominent members and staunch supporters of Ihedioha also turned in their resignation from the party.
