Ibrahim Larmode, Ex EFCC Chairman Dies in Egypt
DIG Ibrahim Lamorde, a former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has died at the age of 61
Lamorde, according to family sources died in Cairo, Egypt where he had travelled to for medical treatment, Premium Times reports
Lamorde was the third Chairman of the EFCC haven taken over the leadership of the anti-graft agency from Farida Waziri.
Late Larmode was a pioneer staff of the EFCC as he was the first Director of Operations of the agency in 2003 under Nuhu Ribadu who is now the National Security Adviser (NSA) to President Bola Tinubu.
The former EFCC boss was Born on December 20, 1962, he joined the Nigerian Police in 1986 and retired as a Deputy Inspector General of Police in 202.
He headed EFCC from 2011 to 2015.
