Nigerian football star, Ademola Lookman emerged on Monday night at the prestigious Palais des Congres, Marrakech, Morocco emerged the African footballer of the year, 2024.
The event was the 32nd edition of the honours.
Lookman who plays for Atalanta FC in the Italia Serie A also shared the stage with South Africa’s Ronwen Williams and fellow Nigerian, Chiamaka Nnadozie who became the big winners of the night.
While, Lookman won the CAF Men’s Player of the Year award ahead of Simon Adingra, Achraf Hakimi, Williams and Serhou Guirassy.
South Africa’s Williams, won both the Men’s Interclub Player of the year award and the Men’s Goalkeeper of the Year award, Nnadozie won the Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year.
