Fed High Court Ibadan Validates PDP National Caretaker C’ttee, Nulifies Ibadan Convention
A Federal High Court sitting in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital has nullified the factional national convention of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), held in Ibadan, on November 15, 2025.
The court also barred members of the Tanimu Turaki-led factional leadership from parading itself as national officers of the PDP.
The court further ruled that the Caretaker Committee led by Mohammed Abdulrahman and Senator Samuel Anyanwu is the only recognised NWC of the PDP, pending the conduct of a valid National Convention
