FCT NUJ Chairman Greets Muslims, Christians on Holy Month, Calls for Unity, Peace

The Chairman of the FCT Council of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Grace Ike has extended warm greetings to Nigerian Christians and Muslims as both faith commence the Lent and Ramadan seasons respectively.

 

In a message of felicitation issued in Abuja on Thursday, Comrade Ike enjoined Nigerians from both faith to work together in the pursuit for unity in Nigeria.

 

NUJ FCT Chairperson enjoined all to see the coincidence of the holy month as a reminder and divine call for Nigerians to work together in peace for the over all progress of the country.

“These solemn periods of fasting, prayer and reflection are powerful reminders of the enduring values of sacrifice, discipline, compassion and love for humanity.
