The lawmaker representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency of Ebonyi State in the National Assembly, Hon. Chinedu Ogah has paid the 2025 West African Examinations Council (WAEC) examination fees for 1538 candidates in 37 secondary schools in the constituency.
Hon. Ogah has also announced his preparedness to pay for the National Examinations Council (NECO) and the Joint Admission and Matriculations (JAMB) fees of eligible candidates from his constituency for the year 2025.
The lawmaker who is well known for his educational empowerment programmes through the Hon Chinedu Ogah Education Endowment Fund made the disclosure when he spoke to FACTSHEET in Abuja on Tuesday.

Expressing his appreciation to his constituents for their continued support and appreciation for his programmes, Hon. Ogah said that “my constituents over the years have been with me, they support our programmes and are always willing to support the good works of the government, part of my own appreciation is the support for our young people to go to school. Education is the key.”
The lawmaker disclosed that the registration for the WAEC examination cost him N40.5 million, just as he also plans to increase the number of scholarships awarded to brilliant students in both secondary and tertiary institutions both from his constituency and other parts of Ebonyi State.
