The Catholic Bishop of Abakaliki Diocese, Dr. Peter Chukwu has reportedly died.
A high ranking officer of the Church from the Catholic Diocese, Ebonyi State who spoke to FACTSHEET on condition of anonymity said that “the Bishop was a bit down” and we were just informed that he has died.
Also, confirming the death the Bishop, Senate Deputy Majority Whip, Onyekachi Nwebonyi in a social media statement wrote: “My heart is bleeding via the loss of the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Abakaliki, Dr Peter Chukwu this day.”
