Deputy Speaker Condoles NSA, Over Brother’s Death
The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu has
commiserated with the National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu over the loss of his brother, Dr. Salihu Ahmadu Ribadu.
Kalu who was at the plenary session of the House earlier on Tuesday later joined his colleagues comprising some Senators and members of the Green Chambers to travel to Yola, Adamawa State for a condolence visit.
A statement by Kalu’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Levinus Nwabughiogu stated that the members of the National Assembly on the visit included the chairman of the Senate Committee on National Security and Intelligence, Senator Shehu Buba, chairman of the Senate Committee on National Security and Intelligence; the Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on Anti-Corruption, Senator Tony Nwoye; House Committee Chairman on National Security and Intelligence, Hon. Satomi Ahmed; Engr. Abubakar Issah, Hon. Bala Kashuri from Bauchi; Hon. Mohammed Salihu Girei; Hon. Aliyu Boya; Hon. Jafaru Magaji amongst others.
Consoling the Ribadu family, Kalu prayed the Almighty God to give them comfort and the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and grant the soul of the departed eternal rest.
