Delta Assembly Suspends Hon. Oboro Preyor for 14 Legislative Days Over Misconduct

The Delta State House of Assembly (DSHA), has suspended Hon. Oboro Preyor for 14 legislative days for an alleged gross misconduct.

Hon. Preyor is the member representing Bomadi State Constituency and the Chairman of the House Committee on Works.

The motion for the suspension of Hon. Preyor was moved by the Majority Leader, Hon. Emeka Nwaobi, (Aniocha North State Constituency) and  the motion was seconded by  Hon. Matthew Omonade (Ughelli North 1 constituency).

The motion was subsequently adopted and the Speaker, Hon.  Emomotimi Guwor, directed the Sergeant-At-Arm to escort the suspended lawmaker out of the hallowed chamber.

The Speaker also  announced that an adhoc committee would be set up to investigate the issues that led to the suspension.
