CP Adewale Assumes Duty as FCT Police Commissioner, Assures Residents of Enhanced Security

 

 

Mr. Ajao Adewale officially assumed his role as the Commissioner of Police (CP) for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), succeeding CP Olatunji Disu, who has been promoted to Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) at the Force Headquarters.

In his inaugural address in Abuja, CP Adewale pledged to deliver effective service and build upon the accomplishments of his predecessor. He emphasized his commitment to providing quality leadership to the officers and men of the FCT Command, aiming to enhance security and public safety within the territory.

CP Adewale’s prior experience includes serving as the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the Zonal Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at Zone 2, Lagos. This background is expected to contribute significantly to his new role in addressing the security challenges of the FCT.

Residents of the FCT anticipate that under CP Adewale’s leadership, the police command will intensify efforts to combat crime and ensure the safety and security of all inhabitants
