Concerned APC Members Rally in Support of Ganduje in Abuja, Say Suspension Controversy Handiwork NNPP

Thousands of All Progressives Congress (APC) members gathered today in Abuja for a mass rally in solidarity with the party’s National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, amidst recent controversies surrounding his position.

Former Commissioner of Lands and Urban Development, Nasarawa State, Hon. Prof Salihu Ahmad Alizaga, led the rally, emphasizing the unity within the party and dismissing claims of internal strife fueled by external interests.

Alizaga denounced what he described as orchestrated attempts to destabilize the party, pointing fingers at the Kwankwasiyya Movement and former governors from the North Central region. He reiterated the party’s support for Ganduje’s leadership, highlighting the achievements and victories secured under his tenure.

He said, “We are here to tell the whole world that APC is one united family, devoid of rancor as being erroneously portrayed and speculated by few individuals under the OBVIOUSLY SPONSORED of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP led Kano State Government.”

The rally also served as a platform to express unwavering confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and reaffirm support for his administration. Alizaga called on party members to remain steadfast and resist any attempts to undermine the current leadership, emphasizing the need for competence over mediocrity in the party’s future endeavors.

The event concluded with a resounding vote of confidence in both President Tinubu and the National Chairman Ganduje, signaling strong backing from party faithfuls as they gear up for future challenges and elections.

The group was received by the National Chairman and other members of the National Executive Council of the party in Abuja.
