A Federal High Court sitting in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State has affirmed the suspension of Mr. Ali Odefa from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Mr. Odefa was suspended from the party on October 4, 2024 by the Executive committee of the party at his Oguduokwor Ward in Onicha local government area of Ebonyi State allegations of his anti-party activities.
Delivering judgement of matter filed by HON. OVUTA HERBERT ONYEDIKACHI & ORS V. CHIEF ALI ODEFA & ORS with Suit No FHC/AI/CS/182/2024, Honourable Justice Hilary Oshomah affirmed the suspension of Ali Odefa and ordered that Mr. Odefa should henceforth stop parading himself as the National Vice Chairman of the party haven been validly suspended from the party.
The Judge further ruled that the suspension of Mr. Odefa takes effect from today, November 29, 2024.
