Nigerian-British boxer, Anthony Joshua, aka, ‘AJ’ on Sunday night at the Kaseya Centre, Miami, Florida knocked out American Youtuber turned boxer, Jake Paul on the sixth round in a bout that has been described as “messy”by analysts.
Jake Paul who admitted his jaws were broken drove himself straight to the hospital where he confessed that he would be returning cruiserweight division to boviously avoid the kind of punishment he endured on Sunday night.
Though Joshua admitted that “It wasn’t the best performance,” noetheless, the bout has brought Joshua’s career to the headlines again after his previous loses.
Jake Paul was quick and sharp early on as he boxed on the back foot which left ‘AJ’ swinging wildly and missing in the opening rounds. But in the 5th round, AJ broke the jinx with some heavy knockdown punches.
The pair would share the $184million prize money, one of th biggest in recent boxing history.
