The Ganduje Ward in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State has suspended the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, from the party.
The Ward Executive of the APC led Hon. Haruna Gwanjo announced the suspension of Ganduje in a press briefing in Kano on Monday.
According to Gwanjo, Ganduje, a former the immediate past governor of the state is suspended to enable him clear his name from on-going corruption allegations including the controversial “dollar in agbada” saga.
The APC national secretariat has not issued any statement on the development and calls to Ganduje and his associates were not answered at press time.
