Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has reportedly re-arrested, Idris Okuneye, Bobrisky, at Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos as the controversial crossdresser was about leaving Nigeria in an Amsterdam bound KLM flight.
Bobrisky who was recently released from prison after serving jail sentence for defacing the Naira was said to be on his way to London, United Kingdom on Thursday night when he was pulled out of the aircraft which had already concluded boarding protocols.
In an SOS message posted on his Instagram handle, the embattled crossdresser wrote, “Nigerians help me, EFCC just arrested me. I’m badly injured.”
This is the second time Bobrisky is being arrested on his way out of Nigeria. Last week, he was arrested and later detained by officials of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) at the Seme border as made to escape to Benin Republic enroute Europe.
Fresh trouble started for the “Mummy of Lagos” after his conversation with controversial activist, Very DarkMan where the crossdresser revealed that he served his prison term in a private facility which negates rules of Nigeria Correctional Service protocols.
Bobrisky also made accusations against the EFCC, the Mr. Femi Falana and other high-ranking prison officials.
EFCC officials have already confirmed that Bobrisky is in their custody and would be putb on a flight to Abuja today (Friday) to enable him substantiate his allegations against the commission.
