My Late Daughter Was Physically Challenged, But She Impacted Lives Positively- NNPC Boss, Mele Kyari

The Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the e Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited Mr. Mele Kyari on Tuesday, opened up on his late daughter who died last week Friday.

 

The NNPC boss in an emotion laden tribute to his deceased daughter, Fatima disclosed she was a special need child.

 

Appreciating his friends and family for the outpouring consolatory wishes, Kyari noted that despite Fatima’s disability she impacted her world within her short life and left good memories in the minds of people.

 

The tribute reads:

 

“My daughter Fatima departed at her appointed time and looking forward to meeting her in Jannah by Allah’s grace. While the loss is great by all measures, we remain grateful to God for all his mercies. I didn’t know the depth of her connections with many people and what she meant to many.

 

“Despite her physical challenges, she is able touch hearts in very soothing ways, including me. Above all, her demise brought many people together and demonstrated that we all can care for others irrespective of our social circumstances.

 

“I profoundly thank our leaders, family members, friends, associates, colleagues, our teachers and the countless unmentioned that joined us to pray for the repose of her soul and for consoling us.”
