United Nigeria Airlines to Commence Flight Operations in Ebonyi Airport on September

One of Nigeria’s leading domestic carriers, United Nigeria Airlines has concluded plans to commence scheduled flight operations into the Chuba Okadigbo International Cargo Airport, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.
FACTSHEET findings reveal that the Abakaliki route is among eight new routes the fast expanding airlines has penciled down for operations.
In a chat with FACTSHEET, a senior executive with the airlines confirmed that, “yes its true, we shall commence flight operations into Abakaliki airport by September.”
In addition to Abakaliki route, other routes the airline will be expanding their operations to include, Benin City, Sokoto, Jos, Ibadan, Akure, Maiduguri and Kano.
United Nigeria currently flies to Anambra, Abuja, Bayelsa, Asaba, Enugu, Warri, Port Harcourt and Owerri.
The Ebonyi Airport which was built by the administration of the immediate past governor of Ebonyi State, Chief David Umahi is to have the longest runway in Nigeria currently.
