Commissioner of Police (CP) Salman Dogo Garba, has resumed duty and commissioner of police Kano State Command.
Garba takes over from the state’s former police boss. Hussani Gumel who was recently promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG).
The new CP called for the support from the police personnel in the state, while assuring that he will uphold the highest level professionalism in the discharge of his duties.
Speaking at a farewell ceremony organised at the Officers Mess Bompai in honour of the AIG Husani Gumel, the new CP assured the people of Kano State that the good work done by his predecessor will be continued with.
In his own remarks, AIG Gumel remarks, thanked the officers and men of the Kano State Command for the support they accorded to him during his tenure as the CP. He said that his success in Kano State was a direct result of the dedication of the officers and men of the force.
The AIG called on the police personnel in the state to extend the same support and cooperation to the CP.
