The Nigeria Youth Organisation (NYO) has dissociated itself from the activities of some persons it said has been impersonating its leadership for selfish gains.
In a statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday, the National President of the NYO, Comrade Okorie C. Okorie alerted the public that “It has come to notice of the Leadership of Nigeria Youth Organization NYO that one Mr. Sunday Olusegun Adeleye who is about 75years of age and one Mr Duke Alamboye who was long ago sacked as a member of the Nigeria Youth Organization NYO are currently parading themselves as BOT Secretary and National President of Nigeria Youth Organisation NYO.”
Comrade Okorie while reiterating the “indivisible” nature of the organisation affirmed that the NYO was committed to supporting the President Bola Tinubu led administration.
“Nigeria Youth Organization (NYO) remains one indivisible body and we’re committed to supporting the President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s led administration,” he said.
The organisation, therefore urges “The government and general public are hereby notified of the nefarious activities of the above individuals and as well advised not to have anything to do with them in the name of Nigeria Youth Organization (NYO).”
