President Bola Tinubu has announced the plans of the Federal Government to honour the military personnel killed Okuoma in Delta State.
The President said that the government will ensure that the fallen officers and soldier did not die in vain.
The president who hosted members of the National Assembly who were led by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Abbas stated assured that the families of the victims will not be allowed to suffer.
The President said:
“‘In responding to distress calls, they met the end of their lives in a savage manner. Let us work to sympathize and symbolize the fact that they are worth the sacrifices they have made for Nigeria.
”We salute all our men and women in uniform, and we sympathize with them. I will soon make further pronouncements, but they must have a befitting burial and national honours.”
