Appeal Court Jurist, Theresa Ngolika Orji-Abadua Dies at 64

The presiding Justice of the Court of Appeal Benin Division, Hon. Justice Theresa Ngolika Orji-Abadua has died at the age of 64.

The late jurist according a source close to the court died on Friday in a yet to be disclosed private hospital.

The deceased jurist  was on the reserve list of nominees for appointment to the Supreme Court.

Late Justice hailed from Ikeduru in Imo State was elevated from the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory to the Court of Appeal on February 15, 2008.

She was born on October 15, 1959.  She studied law at the London Metropolitan University from 1980 to 1983 before attending the Nigerian Law School from 1983 to 1984

She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1984, She also studied at the School of Arts and Social Sciences at Northumbria University in the UK
