Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has sacked the state’s Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof. Olanike Kudirat Adeyemo.
The sack of the SSG takes immediate effect according to a statement issued in Ibadan on Monday by the Special Adviser (Media) to the governor, Dr. Sulaiman Olarenwaju.
The statement also announced the appointment of Prof Musibau Adetunji Babatunde as the new SSG of the government.
Also, in a mild cabinet shakeup, Mr. Temilolu Seun Ashamu has been moved from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.
While the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Public Works, Ademola Aderinto, has now been upgraded as a commissioner-designate. He will consequently be presented to the Oyo State House of Assembly for screening
Also, Hon. Abiodun Adedoja has been appointed the Special Adviser on Energy Security while Mr. Kolawole Elijah Akanmu has been appointed the Senior Special Assistant on Budget and Economic Planning
