At 63: Tinubu Celebrates Kano Gov, Kabir Yusuf, Acknowledges His Purposeful Programmes
President Bola Tinubu has described Kano State governor, Mr. Abba Kabir Yusuf as a man of integrity and a committed public servant.
In a birthday message issued on Sunday by Presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga in felicitation of the governor on his 63rd birthday anniversary President Tinubu was quoted to have said that, “Governor Yusuf’s leadership experience, particularly his years as commissioner, managing strategic portfolios in Kano State, may have prepared him for the kind of infrastructural changes now witnessed in the state.
The president highlighted the life changing programmes of the Kano governor including educational and several other human empowerment programmes aimed at lift the people of the state, especially the youth.
The president noted that Governor Yusuf “has embarked on urban renewal programmes, building bridges and road networks, including the five-kilometre roads in each local government in the state.
Preident Tinubu specifically noted that, “I also understood that his declaration of emergency in education has engendered a marked improvement in the performance of Kano students in NECO exams.”
