PDP Holds BoT Meeting, Vows To Restore Confidence, Hold Congress In States
The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is currently meeting in Abuja ahead of the scheduled National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the party scheduled for later today.
The twin meetings are holding as the tenure of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party is expected to expire on December 10, 2025.

Addressing members of the BoT in his opening remarks, the Chairman, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa assured members of the party that board was determined to ensure that the confidence of the public in the party is revived.
He stated that the PDP in line with its constitution will conduct all outstanding congresses in various states.
A member of the BoT who spoke to FACTSHEET said that, “after this meeting we shall proceed to the 104th NEC meeting where we shall ratify all newly appointed Caretaker Committees and also discuss the way forward for the party as you know that the tenure of the current NWC will expire this new week.”
The party’s NWC recently appointed Caretaker Committee for Enugu, Ebonyi, Bauchi and other states.
