Idegenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanuon Friday finally agreed to open his defence before Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court, Abuja.
Kanu had earlier refused to file a defence after he fired his lawyers and agrued that the Federal Government of Nigeria has not established any case against him.

However, on Friday Mazi Kanu agreed to file his defence before the court. Justice Omotosho had earlier directory the court registry to attend to Kanu in the court room.
The lead counsel to the Federal Government, Chief Adegboyega Awomolo, SANhas already informed the court that he would accept the processes from Kanu within the courtroom and respond accordingly.
