The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, has expressed sadness over the death of a former Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Alhaji Ahmed Mustapha.

Speaker Abbas described Alhaji Mustapha, who died in Abuja on Thursday at the age of 76, as a thoroughbred professional and dedicated civil servant.
In a condolence message issued through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi, the Speaker lamented that Alhaji Mustapha, who held the traditional title of Sardauna Adamawa, died when his experience from civil service was still needed.
The Speaker commiserated with Mustapha’s family while praying to Allah (SWT) to grant him Jannatul Firdaus.
