FCC Appointments: Deputy Speaker, Kalu Hails President Tinubu, Congratulates Oriaku on Emergence As Abia Commissioner

 

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu,, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Obinna Oriaku on his appointment as the Commissioner representing Abia State at the Federal Character Commission (FCC).

 

In a statement, Kalu commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR for the appointment, describing the choice of Oriaku, a former Commissioner for Finance in the State, as a round peg on a round hole.

Kalu also congratulated other appointees from the South East region, noting that the appointments reflect President Tinubu’s commitment to inclusivity and regional representation.

 

The Deputy Speaker who represents Bende Federal Constituency of Abia State at the National Assembly added that the development also speaks to the visionary leadership of President Tinubu, stressing that his benevolence has continued to spread across the region.

 

The Deputy Speaker expressed confidence in Oriaku’s intellectual competence and technical expertise to excel in his new role and make Abia proud.

 

Kalu urged continued support for President Tinubu from the people of the South East as he diligently implements the Renewed Hope Agenda.
