A new trending video has revealed that the crew of Ibom Air flight from Uyo to Lagos prevented Ms. Comfort Emmanson from deboarding the aircraft thereby occasioning the flight, a situation that later engendered the fracas that occured between the passenger and the airline staff.
Earlier, the staff of the airline had shared a video that depicted the embattled passenger as the aggressor in a matter that has already led her to the notorious Kirikiri prison in Lagos.
However, in the new video the lady is seen pleading with the air hostess to allow her pass, but the crew refused.
FACTSHEET reported that the passenger who was forcibly removed from the aircraft and handed over to the police who hurriedly arraigned her in court for “unruly conduct.” She was subsequently remanded in prison.
In a statement issued on Monday by the management of Ibom Air, the airline absolved its staff and heaped all blames on the passenger.
The airline and the aviation authority have not commented on the emerging new information at press time
