The Administrator of Rivers State Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas (Rtd) has issued a firm warning against acts of lawlessness, emphasizing the government’s zero-tolerance stance on disorder and criminal activity.
In a statement released on Thursday, the Administrator stressed the importance of maintaining peace and upholding the rule of law across the state. “I will not tolerate any act of lawlessness. Rivers State is a land of order and progress, and we will take all necessary measures to ensure the safety and security of our citizens,” the Administrator declared.

The warning comes amidst rising concerns over recent incidents of violence and unrest in certain parts of the state. Security agencies have been directed to remain vigilant, and residents are urged to cooperate with law enforcement to maintain peace.
“We are committed to protecting lives and property. Anyone found disrupting public order will face the full weight of the law,” the Administrator added.
