Mr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa has been sworn in as the Executive Governor of Ondo State.
His swearing in marks the beginning of his first full term as an elected governor of the “Sunshine State.”
The inauguration ceremony took place at the Ondo State Sports Complex in Akure, the state capital. Governor Aiyedatiwa took his oath of office at about 1pm on Monday just after his running mate Olayide Adelami had been inaugurated.

Aiyedatiwa, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) won the governorship election on November 16, 2024 defeating his closest rival, Mr. Agboola Ajayi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
