President Bola Tinubu, on Thursday at the Presidential Villa decorated his Aide-de-Camp (ADC), Col Nurudeen Alowonle Yusuf with his new rank.
Alowonle Yusuf was recently promoted from the rank of Lieutenant Colonel to a full Colonel by the Nigerian Army Promulgation AHQ MS/G1/300/252/2 on December 19, 2024, the promotion took effect from September, 22, 2023.
Extoling the commitment of his ADC, President Tinubu said that, “He [Yusuf] is worthy of the promotion, and I am very happy for him. Nurudeen is a diligent and reliable officer with the right temperament. I believe he will go farther and farther in his profession.

The even was witnessed by the wife, mother and daughter of the ADC.
Other top government officials including the governor of Kwara State, Abdul Rahaman AbdulRazaq, , National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Minister for (State) Defence Dr Bello Mohammad Matawalle, Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Gwabin Musa, Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Olufemi Olatubosun Oluyede, and Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun.
