32-year-old Nigerian-born body builder, Samson Dauda on Sunday night at the iconic Las Vegas Convention Centre (LSVCC) emerged the 2024 Mr. Olympia and carted away a whopping cash prize of $600,000, equivalent of N960 million.
Dauda represented the United Kingdom where he is currently based at the tournament.
Mr. Olympia is an annual bodybuilding competition attracted millions of followers and viewers from across the world. The event is also widely regarded as the world’s most prestigious event in the sport.
Established in 1965 by Joe Weider, it showcases the world’s top bodybuilders who compete for the title of Mr. Olympia and a significant cash prize.
Dauda was born in Lagos, Nigeria on March 11, 1992, he relocated to the United Kingdom in his teenage years. He started off with rugby before professionally switching to body-building in 2014.
