Coup in Gabon: Please ‘Make Some Noise,’ They Have Arrested My Family, Ali Bongo Cries Out
The ousted President of the Republic of Gabon, Mr. Ali Bongo has called on his country people and allies to “make some noise” for the military to restore his leadership of the oil-rich country.
Bongo in a social media video can been seen trembling while calling on the people to “please make some noise.”
The ousted president said that his wife and son have been taken away.
He said:
“I’m just sending a message to all the friends we have all over the world. To make noise. The people here have arrested me and my family.”
“I don’t know what’s happening”.
“I’m calling you to make noise, make noise really,”
