The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)Nin Lagos State in the 2023 general elections, Dr. Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has announced his resignation from the party.

Announcing his exit from the PDP at his Ikeja office during a press briefing on Monday, Jandor told his supporters that, “This is not the end, It is the beginning of a new chapter—one driven by sincerity, progress, and true service to the people.”
He, however, did not disclose if he will be joining another party any time soon. Dr. Adediran was until 2022 when he joined the PDP a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a strong supporter of President Bola Tinubu.
During the buildup to the 2023 general elections, he floated the “Lagos4Lagos Movement” on which platform he drove his campaign activities.
He however, came third behind the Labour Party (LP) and the APC that eventually
